Day 1 at the Cress House
I've
planted my seeds in an old yoghurt pot stuffed with cotton wool. I've
made sure that the cotton wool is damp, but not too wet.
Day 2
Still no change. Made sure the cotton wool is damp again. Will check
again tomorrow.
Day 3
Great
news!A few of the seeds have sprouted. I can see their roots and a few
leaves. I think I'll see the rest tomorrow. Damped the cotton wool
again.
Day 4
Guess what? I was right, I've got a more leaves. Damped the cotton wool
again.
Day 5
My leaves have grown taller, that's great! The cotton wool is damp too!

Day 6
I've got taller leaves today. They're looking healthy, which is good.
Day 7
My cress has grown a lot since yesterday, and it's healthy too.
Day 8
My cress is massive now. It's getting nearly ready for eating, but I'll
wait a few more days.
Day 9
Not really much change from yesterday, although I do think it's grown a
bit. Made sure the cotton wool is damp.
Day 10
No change today (we took it to Harrogate with us when we sent to see
Grannie and Grandad!)
Day 11
Still in Harrogate it's grown a bit, though.
Day 12
It's grown a lot, we're going to eat it tomorrow.
Day 13
My cress looks healthier today. I wonder what it will taste like? We're
not eating it today, I'm going to a party!
Day 14
This is it today.

This is it on my roll.

This is me eating it.

Yum yum! It was tasty!
